The client is a US transportation company, which provides services mainly using trucks. To be compliant with the Department of Transportation (DOT), the client must record all driver logs and then send one copy of valid data to the DOT within a specified period of time. However, processing these records did consume a huge amount of manpower and management cost. Eventually, this client adopted EE’s custom solution, an online driver log recognition and processing system to free the stringent resources and therefore focus more on its core competence, by leveraging leading edge Internet and recognition technology.

- Check Recognition System for Red Cross US
The Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Red Cross (SEPA) is the Nation’s 4th largest Red Cross Chapter and one of the largest providers of disaster relief services in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Almost a thousand times each year, Red Cross staff and volunteers rise to the challenge of responding to local emergencies; mobilizing needed relief supplies, staffing shelters, and giving comfort and aid to those in need. At the same time, the Red Cross volunteers are onsite every day, providing vital health and safety information and training to all of our neighborhoods.

- Homebuilder DIM
ExperExchange developed a web-based DIM system for AT & A, Inc., an American carpet, ceramic, and vinyl company. By leveraging ExperExchange’s proprietary OCR technology, the system can scan, convert and administrate all working documents for the client. With this system, the client has improved their productivity by about 60% and saved a significant amount of time and money, which would otherwise be consumed in paper document handling and retrieving.
- Homebuilder Workflow
ExperExchange developed a set of Management Information Systems to be used for the workflow and worksheet processes needed to provide the essential operating decision information for the managers of ATALE, an American decoration materials distribution and service company. The System is based on the client's business flow, seamlessly integrating workflow management with document management by adopting the global leading OCR technology of ExperExchange. The system has increased ATALE's workplace efficiency by 20% and customer satisfaction by 30%, as well as saved a vast amount of time and money compared to the former system for the processing and search of paper documents.

- DocuGuidance DIM for a Law Firm
At the request of legal service firm TradeHelp, ExperExchange developed a DIM (Document Imaging Management) system, DocuGuidance, which has become an indispensable assistant to the firm, doubling production, tripling efficiency and significantly reducing people power costs to help its quickly expanding business in China.
- 2D Barcode Recognition Toolkit for Doculex
In this project, we developed a toolkit for customer to find and recognize the 2d barcode in a document image. The toolkit was designed and developed on MS Windows platform. All of the source code was implemented with C language. It can be easily explanted to other platforms, such as Unix/Linux, Pocket PC etc.

- MiniChecks
It engaged ExperExchange to develop a small portable and cost-efficient system designed to accomplish four important functions for someone accepting checks. The software being developed is a part of a hardware and software combination package designed to scan checks and OCR the information on those checks for electronic processing. The system is called the MiniCheck Manager.

MedForce Technologies (http://medforcetech.com) is a software company that develops applications for the healthcare industry. It was started with the collaboration of its parent company, Healthcare Management Solutions Inc., (HMS) a medical billing service company.
